Lucknow, June 24 -- Even as the Special Investigation Team ( SIT) report on the Ram Temple donation theft case has been sent to the PMO by the Uttar Pradesh government, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has questioned the BJP government over not registering an FIR against the guilty.
Akhilesh Yadav said the SIT has submitted its preliminary report but still there is no FIR registered in the case.
He sarcastically commented that it seems that SIT stands for "Share in Theft".
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Akhilesh Yadav said that millions of devotees visited the Ram Temple and they made donations and offerings.
