Lucknow, June 23 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted its investigation report to the Uttar Pradesh government in the Ram Temple offering theft case of Ayodhya.
The three-member SIT team, headed by Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, visited the office of Additional Chief Secretary(Home) Sanjay Prasad on Tuesday morning and handed over the report to him. Other members of the SIT are IG Lucknow, Kiran S, and Special Secretary ( Finance) Neelratan.
Later, talking to the media, Pant said that this is a preliminary report submitted to the government. He also refused to reveal anything about the report, saying it was confidential.
