Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 4 -- The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has launched a detailed probe into alleged financial irregularities and procedural violations surrounding the proposed visit of Argentina football legend Lionel Messi and the national team to Kerala.
The investigation began with a high-level meeting of the SIT in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, during which the team discussed the allegations and the scope of the inquiry. ADGP P. Vijayan is heading the investigation.
