New Delhi, June 2 -- Delhi's Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday visited Outer Delhi's Mungeshpur village along with Social Welfare, SC and ST Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh, to review pollution-related concerns and development issues in the area, part of the national capital's rural belt.
The ministers interacted with local residents, and took note of their grievances and suggestions, while reviewing issues related to environmental conditions, civic infrastructure, and the overall development of the region.
The locals flagged concerns related to increasing air pollution from industrial units located along the Haryana border, deteriorating air quality, and the impact on public health.
