Nahan, April 9 -- The PO Cell team of the Sirmaur Police, acting as part of a special operation, arrested a proclaimed offender named Hira Bahadur on Thursday.

The accused, a resident of Dhanora village, Police Station Mulana, Tehsil Barwala, District Ambala (Haryana), was apprehended by police in the Narayangarh area and brought to the police station.

According to police, the accused was involved in a theft case registered at Nahan Police Station in 2018. After his name surfaced in the case, he remained absconding, leading to his being declared a proclaimed offender by the court, and a search for him was ongoing.
