Bengaluru, June 2 -- The controversy over a viral audio clip allegedly involving senior Congress leader Zameer Ahmed Khan escalated on Tuesday, with former Karnataka Minority Development Corporation (KMDC) director Mohammed Siraj approaching the Cyber Crime Police and alleging a calculated conspiracy to defame him and trigger unrest within the party.

Siraj lodged a formal complaint at the Vidyanagar Cyber Crime Police Station in Davanagere, demanding a thorough investigation into the origin and circulation of the audio clip that has stirred political debate in Karnataka.
