Siliguri, April 14 -- With concerns mounting over alleged large-scale voter deletions ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, a Siliguri-based organisation has called for urgent judicial intervention to safeguard electoral rights in West Bengal.
The Haji Halima Foundation (HHF), during a national webinar held on April 12 on "SIR and the Rights of Voters in West Bengal," brought together legal experts, academicians, economists, and civil society members to deliberate on the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
