Lucknow, April 11 -- New electoral trends have intensified the political activity in Uttar Pradesh after the publication of electoral rolls post Special Intensive Revision( SIR). A survey analysis has revealed that the largest vote declines have been recorded in seats held by the BJP in UP. This signal is not only a warning for the ruling party but also an opportunity for the Opposition.
According to data, the BJP has lost more than 100,000 votes in 16 seats, while the decline has been more than 80,000 in 21 seats.
A decline of more than 50,000 votes has been recorded in 82 seats, and between 30 and 50,000 votes in 159 seats. Significantly, most of these seats are where the BJP had a strong lead in the 2022 assembly elections.
