London, June 28 -- Wimbledon 2026, the third Grand Slam of the tennis calendar, will begin at the All England Club in London on Monday.
World No. 1 and top seed Jannik Sinner will be looking to defend his Wimbledon title after a surprise second-round exit at last month's French Open - the only Grand Slam the Italian isyet to win.
Sinner had beaten rival Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in four sets in the final last year to claim his maiden Wimbledon title.
Seven-time Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz is not a part of the men's singles draw this year after withdrawing from the grass-court major due to an injury to his right wrist. He had also skipped the French Open, according to olympics.com.
