Patna, Aug. 11 -- Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha Tuesday announced that the Bihar Centre of Excellence for Millets Value Chain (BCoEMVC) will be developed as a model for Eastern India and the country in the areas of food and nutritional security.
According to an official release, Sinha made the announcement during his visit to the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) at Patancheru in Hyderabad, where he held discussions with scientists and experts on the prospects of agricultural development in Bihar and reviewed the progress of the BCoEMVC project.
