Hyderabad, July 23 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Thursday said the State Government is committed to transforming Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) into a strong, future-ready and globally competitive public sector enterprise by expanding its business and ensuring long-term sustainability.
During an inspection of the Sathupalli Open Cast Coal Mine, Bhatti described the 130-year-old Singareni as the "heartbeat and soul of Telangana" and said the people of the state share an emotional bond with the organisation.
He stressed the need to preserve and strengthen the company for future generations.
