Singapore, May 25 -- Olympic medallist PV Sindhu and Asian Games doubles champions Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will return to represent India at the Singapore Badminton Open 2026, scheduled to start on Tuesday.
Sindhu and Sat-Chi skipped the Malaysia Masters last week but will return for the BWF Super 750 badminton event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with big ranking points on offer.
Sindhu will headline a three-member Indian squad in the women's singles main draw, also featuring Unnati Hooda and Malvika Bansod.
With only one semi-final appearance on tour this season, Sindhu faces a tough opening act against world No. 6 Putri Kusuma Wardani of Indonesia, who holds a 3-2 head-to-head lead over the Indian badminton player....
