Siliguri, Aug. 9 -- There is no legacy greater than the imprint a mother leaves on our lives, said Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) on Sunday at a time when the state is set to celebrate 2nd Amma Samman Diwas at Rangpo on Monday.
"During the hardest days of my struggle, my mother's love, prayers and values remained my greatest source of strength. That is why I chose to dedicate one of the most important days of my life, and an important legacy of our party, to all the mothers of Sikkim," CM recalled.
"A mother is never just one's own. The language of a mother's love, sacrifice and pain is universal. Today, seeing the Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana bring even a little more confidence and reassurance into the lives of thousands...
