Siliguri, Oct. 15 -- With safety and logistics under scrutiny, Sikkim has stepped up preparations for its Adventure Tourism Festival 2026, scheduled to be held from November 1 to 7 at Linkhim Tar in Namthang, Namchi district.
A two-day reconnaissance exercise on October 13 and 14 brought together officials from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department and the Information and Public Relations Department of the Sikkim government, along with adventure tourism experts and other stakeholders, to assess the feasibility and safety of the proposed activities.
