Mysuru, June 29 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday visited Kempayyanahundi village in T Narasipura taluk of Mysuru district to console the family members of three persons who allegedly committed suicide.
Siddaramaiah met the bereaved family members and expressed his condolences over the tragic incident involving three members of the same family.
During his visit, the senior Congress leader directed the police to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the case. He also urged the authorities to ensure adequate security for the affected family members.
Siddaramaiah was accompanied by former minister HC Mahadevappa and Puttarangashetty during the visit.
