Bengaluru, April 15 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday escalated the Centre-State financial debate, flagging pending dues and delayed approvals worth over Rs 75,000 crore and alleging that delays in clearing key proposals reflect "inequity" in the treatment of Karnataka's developmental priorities.
In a detailed letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said Karnataka, despite being one of the highest contributors to the national exchequer, continues to face pending financial commitments and stalled infrastructure approvals that are vital for the State's growth trajectory.
