Srinagar, Oct. 1 -- J&K police's State Investigation Agency (SIA), Kashmir, on Thursday conducted searches at two residential premises in Kulgam district in connection with a probe into an alleged transnational human trafficking network accused of luring unemployed youth with overseas job offers and subsequently exploiting them in cyber fraud operations in Myanmar.
The searches were carried out at the residence of Gulam Nabi Khanday alias Charlie, Mohsin and Jerry Khan of Bungam Chewgam, Kulgam, and Ashiq Hussain Sheikh of Baghpora Yar, Khushipora, Qazigund, SIA said.
