Mumbai, June 21 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday announced India's ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series against England, naming Shubman Gill as captain and Shreyas Iyer as vice-captain.

The series will be played at Edgbaston, Sophia Gardens and Lord's from July 14 to July 19.

The selection reflects the continuation of India's structured ODI transition, with Gill leading the side as part of a long-term leadership plan and Iyer forming the immediate support in the leadership group.

Senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been retained, providing experience and stability within a squad that also features a developing core group being gradually integrated into the ODI setup.
