Nagpur, June 6 -- Nagpur Police have served a show-cause notice to an investigation officer attached to Ambazari Police Station for allegedly failing to include the suicide note of an 18-year-old NEET aspirant in the official case papers, a senior police official said on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2), Nityanand Jha, said the handwritten suicide note, purportedly written by the deceased student, was recorded in the station diary but was not attached to the case file.
The notice has been issued to Investigation Officer Nikhil Tabhane seeking an explanation for the lapse, the DCP said.
