Nahan, May 1 -- A moving truck on the Kala Amb-Paonta Sahib National Highway-07 suddenly caught fire on Friday morning, causing panic. The accident occurred in the Dosarka area near Nahan, where the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the truck's wiring.
The incident resulted in losses worth lakhs of rupees, but prompt action by the fire department averted a major disaster. According to reports, the fire department received information about the truck fire at around 5:35 am. Upon receiving the information, the team left for the scene within just one minute and arrived at the scene at around 5:42 am and began relief and rescue operations.
