Bengaluru, June 3 -- Shivakumar sworn in as Karnataka's 25th CM, leads new cabinetDK Shivakumar on Wednesday was sworn in as the 25th Chief Minister of Karnataka at a grand ceremony held at Lok Bhavan here, formally taking charge of a new Congress-led government in the state.

Shivakumar also became the eighth Chief Minister from the Vokkaliga community, marking a significant political milestone as he assumed office amid a large gathering of national and state leaders, religious heads, and public figures.

Along with him, 13 ministers were sworn in, completing the first stage of cabinet formation. The event marked the formal transfer of executive responsibility to the new Council of Ministers.
