Bengaluru, May 20 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday dismissed speculation over a leadership change and internal power struggle within the state Congress, saying that his recent meeting with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was only a routine discussion focused on governance and organisational matters.
"I want to clearly state that my meeting with Mallikarjun Kharge was a routine one. There was no discussion whatsoever on the Chief Minister's post or any leadership change," Shivakumar said.
