Bengaluru, Aug. 23 -- Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday described industrialist Gautam Adani's visit to his residence as a "courtesy meeting", amid mounting political scrutiny over the proposed Bengaluru tunnel-road project and the ongoing tender process.
Reacting to questions about the visit, Shivakumar said it was the first time Adani had met him after he assumed office as Chief Minister.
"It was just a courtesy visit. After I became Chief Minister, this was the first time he came to meet me. He came out of courtesy, we met and he left," he said.
