Mumbai, Aug. 3 -- In the wake of the recent Gen Z-led protest at Jantar Mantar, the Shiv Sena has reportedly shifted into action mode and begun preparing a long-term strategy to engage young voters ahead of the 2029 Lok Sabha and Maharashtra Assembly elections.
According to party sources, Shiv Sena is expected to convene a special meeting soon to chalk out its outreach programme for Gen Z voters.
With an estimated 380 million young voters expected to be part of the electorate by 2029, the party is looking to strengthen its connect with the youth.
As part of the strategy, Shiv Sena plans to identify a suitable young face to lead its engagement with Gen Z.
