Shimla, April 2 -- In a major breakthrough against drug trafficking, Shimla district police have seized one of the largest consignments of chitta (heroin) reported this year, intensifying the ongoing anti-narcotics drive in the hill town.
Police Chief of Shimla Saurav Singh said that the seizure was made on Thursday morning in connection with Case No. 54/26 dated March 24, 2026, registered under Section 21 under NDPS Act under the police station Boileauganj.
