Hyderabad, Sept. 1 -- Dhruv Sheoran and home-course player Vishesh Sharma had little separating them after the opening round of the Rs 1 crore Telangana Golconda Masters 2026, as both shot 10-under 60 at the Hyderabad Golf Association, matching the course record and moving one stroke clear of the field.
Sheoran's score was built on an aggressive start. The 31-year-old Gurugram golfer began from the 10th hole and reeled off five straight birdies from the 10th through the 14th. A bogey on the 15th briefly interrupted the run, but he recovered at once and finished without another dropped shot.
