Thiruvananthapuram, July 17 -- Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was safely rescued after being briefly trapped inside a lift at a hotel here on Friday following a technical malfunction.
The incident occurred while Tharoor was staying at the hotel during a series of official and public engagements in the state capital. The lift reportedly came to a halt due to a mechanical fault, leaving the MP stranded for a short period.
