Mumbai, July 17 -- The Sharad Pawar-led NCP is all set to join the BJP-led Maharashtra cabinet as well as the NDA union cabinet in a few days, sources said here on Friday.
The names of senior Sharad Pawar-led NCP leaders Jayant Patil and MLA Jitendra Awhad have been tipped to get ministerial positions in the Devendra Fadnavis cabinet, while the party's National Working President as well as Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule, is expected to join the union cabinet as a minister, as part of the BJP-led NDA government, sources said.
The name of former Health Minister and Sharad Pawar NCP leader Rajesh Tope is also in the lead in the race for a ministerial post in the state cabinet, sources said.
