Shimla, March 10 -- The Shantivan Society has been formed in Himachal Pradesh with the aim of promoting spiritual and philosophical tourism, particularly in the tribal regions of the state.
Addressing the media in Shimla, founding member and spokesperson of the society Kesar Negi said the organisation was constituted last month under the aegis of the Yoga Healing Foundation with the support of the Himachal Pradesh government.
"Yoga Healing Foundation is a global charitable organisation with a presence in the United States, the United Kingdom and India for more than a decade. The foundation works to provide global recognition and opportunities to talented individuals from rural areas of India," he said.
