Dharamshala, June 6 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and former union Minister Shanta Kumar on Friday thanked senior advocate Atul Bhardwaj and the Himachal Pradesh High Court for highlighting the long-pending issue of funds for the construction of the main campus of the of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamshala.
In a statement, Shanta Kumar said Atul Bhardwaj had consistently raised the issue of the state government's failure to provide Rs 30 crore for the campus project. He noted that after examining the submissions, the High Court accepted that the Himachal Pradesh government was required to release the amount and sought clarification on when the funds would be deposited.
