New Delhi, July 15 -- Delhi Police's Janakpuri Police Station has filed a charge sheet within 11 days in a case involving allegations of sexual exploitation on the false promise of marriage.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Hareshwar V Swami, the accused, Asif alias Honey, was promptly arrested, his mobile phone was seized for forensic examination, and he was later remanded to judicial custody after due legal process.
The DCP said the investigation was carried out using scientific and technical evidence, including analysis of call detail records (CDRs) and location data, while the survivor's statement was recorded before the competent court.
