Una(HP), April 10 -- The Una Police in Himachal Pradesh have busted a sex racket operating out of a local dhaba (roadside eatery).
The police conducted a raid on the premises.
During this operation, three women were rescued, while three men were taken into custody.
This action was carried out by the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) team of Una, acting on a confidential tip-off, according to Una SP, Sachin Hiremath.
The police had received intelligence indicating that a sex racket was being operated at a specific dhaba in Una.
Acting on this information, the SIU team devised a strategy. The team sent a decoy-an individual posing as a customer-into the dhaba, following which the police conducted the raid and exposed the racket.
