Hyderabad, May 22 -- Severe heatwave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, and Khammam districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In its daily weather report issued here, the Centre stated that heatwave conditions are likely to continue in parts of the state over the next five days.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging between 40-50 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts during the next 48 hours.
