Lucknow, June 28 -- Severe heatwave conditions continued to prevail in several districts of Uttar Pradesh, including the state capital Lucknow, on Saturday.

The Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, has issued an orange heatwave alert for 11 districts in the state for Saturday.

A heatwave warning has been issued for Pratapgarh, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich,Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, and surrounding areas for the next few days.
