Bhubaneswar, Sept. 15 -- Noted personalities from diverse fields, including tribal literature, industry, public administration, farming, music and sports, were honoured at the 30th Ruchi Pratibha Samman ceremony at Cuttack for their contributions to society and Odisha.
Former Vice Chief of the Indian Army, Lt Gen Chandi Prasad Mohanty, who inaugurated the ceremony at Shahid Bhawan, said recognising achievers for their contribution to society would inspire others to excel.
He said several distinguished personalities from Odisha had enhanced the state's reputation through their dedication and achievements, making their recognition an important initiative.
