Chandigarh, Aug. 6 -- Seven people were injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a sport utility vehicle outside a police station in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district on Thursday, with police suspecting the attack was linked to an ongoing gang rivalry.
Police said the incident occurred in broad daylight outside the City Police Station when the occupants of a black Scorpio SUV were ambushed by three assailants who had arrived on a motorcycle. The attackers allegedly forced the vehicle to stop before unleashing a barrage of bullets and fleeing the scene within moments, leaving the locality gripped by panic.
