Chennai, Aug. 30 -- Seven people, including four children ,were killed and three sustained injuries in two separate road accidentsin Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
In a horrific mishap, four children, including three girls, were killed at Kollampatti near Vadamadurai in Dindigul district on Sunday afternoon, reports received here said.
The children were sitting and playing on the roadside, when they were hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle. The van driver did notstop the vehicle and fled the scene.
The deceased were identified as Yogavarshini (11), Mosikaran (6), Ananya (6) and Dhanushree (5).
Police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post mortem.
