Kolkata, June 20 -- Promising strong Central support for West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called for making the state prosperous and vibrant and placing its economy on a stronger and more modern footing, and advised Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to think about setting short, medium and long term targets.
In a letter to Adhikari on the occasion of Paschimbanga Divas, the Prime Minister also stressed the need to revive investor confidence, accelerate industrial growth, support MSMEs and strengthen logistics.
