New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Senior Delhi Police officers reviewed security arrangements at Old Delhi Railway Station as part of preparations for Independence Day, directing personnel to remain on high alert and strengthen surveillance at key locations, said officials on Wednesday.
During the visit, the officers inspected sensitive locations within the police station's jurisdiction, including the Chhata Rail area, parcel section, rooftops, and other critical deployment points. They reviewed the deployment of security personnel, surveillance measures, and contingency plans to deal with any law-and-order or security-related situation.
