Dharamshala, July 30 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and three-time MLA from Nagrota Bagwan, Chaudhary Ram Chand Bhatia, passed away at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital, Tanda, on Wednesday afternoon. He was 82.
He breathed his last at around 3 p.m. after undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past several days.
His last rites will be performed on Thursday at his native village, Amtarad.
The demise of the veteran leader has cast a pall of gloom over the BJP ranks in Kangra district and across Himachal Pradesh.
