Aizawl, June 29 -- A seminar reflecting on the legacy of the 1986 Mizo Peace Accord and the importance of preserving the peace it ushered in was held in Aizawl on Monday, a day ahead of the 40th anniversary of the historic agreement.
The seminar, titled "40 Years of Harmony: Legislative Dialogue on Peace Building", was organised by the Zoram Research Foundation (ZoRF) in collaboration with the India Peace Centre and the Aijal Club as part of the build-up to the Ruby Jubilee of the Mizo Peace Accord, which will be observed on June 30 as 'Remna Ni' (Peace Day).
