Hyderabad, March 13 -- Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Danasari Seethakka on Friday urged the Central Government to allocate adequate funds and share the maintenance costs of drinking water supply schemes being implemented by the states under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

She requested while participating in a video conference chaired by union Minister for Jal Shakti C R Patil, which reviewed the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission with state ministers. Seethakka joined the meeting from Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad, an official statement said.
