New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- The death toll in the tragic building collapse at Seemapuri in North East Delhi has reached four now, including three women and a toddler, police said on Thursday.
During the rescue operation and removal of debris, body parts have also been recovered. Their identification is pending and will be ascertained through DNA examination, a senior police officer said. In this incident, the police have registered a case.
The rescue operation that was underway since Wednesday has now been completed, while further probe has been initiated in the matter. The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Gulafsa, 56-year-old Haza Bibi, 33-year-old Nusra, and a child who is said to be around 3- 4 year-old.
