Siliguri, May 20 -- The BJP-led West Bengal government is set to conduct a series of administrative meetings across the state, with at least ten such meetings planned initially, senior party leaders said after a high-level review session at Uttarkanya, the branch secretariat in Siliguri, on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari chaired the administrative meeting with senior officials from five North Bengal districts, focusing on governance, law and order, infrastructure and development-related issues.

However, the Chief Minister's scheduled press conference at Uttarkanya was cancelled at the last moment following security-related advisories, officials said.
