Imphal, April 2 -- Security forces intensified counter-insurgency operations across Manipur, recovering a significant cache of arms and ammunition and arresting two active cadres of different proscribed outfits in separate operations conducted on Wednesday, Manipur Police said on Thursday.
A joint team of security forces recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from Heirok Part-II in the Khangabok Mahadeva Ching area under Heirok Police Station in Thoubal district.
