Lucknow, April 24 -- Security and traffic management plans have been finalized for the Ganga Expressway connecting Meerut to Ballia, with responsibility assigned to 52 police stations across 12 districts along the route. This comes ahead of its scheduled inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 29.

Under the directives of Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna, Additional Director General (Law and Order) Amitabh Yash has issued detailed guidelines to ensure safety and smooth operations on the expressway.

According to the guidelines, traffic movement on the expressway will remain completely suspended until three days before the inauguration to prevent any untoward incidents.
