Hyderabad, Sept. 11 -- South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Friday congratulated Chief Office Superintendent T D Satyavani for being conferred a doctorate in Sociology by Osmania University.
Satyavani, who works in the office of the Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, received the doctoral degree during the university's 85th Convocation. on Friday.
Satyavani holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology.
Her doctoral research, titled "Working Women: Life World, Life Style and Life Satisfaction - A Study of Working Women in South Central Railway," was conducted under the supervision of Prof Dr N V Madhuri, Professor of Anthropology, University of Hyderabad.
