Visakhapatnam, July 20 -- Divisional Railway Manager of South Coast Railway (SCoR), Lalitha Bhora, on Monday handed over a cheque for Rs one crore to Akkapatruni Anitha, wife of late Akkapatruni Sivakumar, a Senior Technician (AC) in the Electrical General Department, under the Railway Salary Package (RSP) Scheme.
Sivakumar had died in a road accident on November 23, 2025.
The financial assistance was extended under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Indian Railways and the State Bank of India (SBI), as he maintained his salary account with SBI's Dondaparthy Branch under the Railway Salary Package Scheme.
