Thrissur, Aug. 18 -- Scottish politician and former UK Member of Parliament Martyn Day married Kerala native Nithin Chand at Guruvayur Lord Sri Krishna Swamy temple on Tuesday, fulfilling a wish she had made when he proposed to her nearly a decade ago - that their wedding should take place before Lord 'Guruvayurappan.'The traditional wedding ceremony was held at 11 a.m. at the Pushpanjali Auditorium in Guruvayur. Day, 55, and Nithin, 49, who hails from Pampakuda near Piravom, tied the knot in the presence of Nithin's 22-year-old son Vedik Shankar and close relatives and friends.
