Berlin, June 12 -- Schalke 04 has signed Junior Adamu from Freiburg on a contract until June 30, 2029, adding intensity and flexibility to their attack, the newly promoted Gelsenkirchen club announced.
The 25-year-old, capped nine times for Austria, spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic, where he celebrated a league title and cup triumph.
Adamu becomes Schalke's latest arrival after the club brought in Satoshi Tanaka from Fortuna Duesseldorf.
